Project Description

LoL World Championship events used to have collectible pins each year for the city where its Finals took place, so I wanted to bring that to the LCS. I designed these pins to commemorate the 2022 LCS Summer Championship event taking place in Chicago, Illinois.

I chose a couple of iconic things associated with the city, the Chicago “bean” sculpture, otherwise known as Cloud Gate, and of course a gooey deep dish pizza. I did my best to capture the same melty goodness in TMNT—the pizza design was such a hit that we also slapped it on Grubhub-sponsored shirts for t-shirt cannon giveaways.
